• A walk on the Pier

    CAN YOU IMAGINE!
  • This day is no different and there is no glimmer of a Heaven’s dawn. Yet UB Boy heads to the Sea as a silent member of the crowd that walks on the pier. It’s the Child he now wants to pick up. As long ago he asked the mighty Sea to take care of the Child in him.

  • The Child in me

    Amongst the Crowd

  • Part 1: The sea will look after me
Part 2: We've come to take the child
Part 3: A walk on the Pier
Part 4: A man asking God

UB Boy now understands a visit to the Sea should be completely incognito. Getting lost in a crowd is not UB Boy’s vehicle to get to his destination. Although it was his vehicle in the childhood days. But the walk on the pier went smooth. There was no cause. Nothing urged UB Boy to go to the beach. He visited the Sea so many times before. This day was no different. This is the way life goes.

  • I thought I was a man then, a father. I now know I wasn’t. But I was equipped well enough to carry the Child in me again. Amongst the Crowd. I feel fine and completely at ease amongst the crowd. I wonder, when I’m unwound, will I surround myself gladly by the crowd? Will I ever write a song that is called ‘The Crowd’? And what will I describe what that looks and feels like? I’m already curious. I want to know. There are some streets to cross my path first then. I can wait. No problem. The crowd. We’ll see.

    A walk on the Pier
A walk on the pier. Amongst the crowd. Fathers with their children. Mothers watching the Sea. Nobody is watching me. I’m alone. Comfortably alone. Amongst the crowd I watch the Sea. She looks at me. I’m a man. A father with a child. A hand in a hand. Amongst the crowd the child looks at me. A mother, a hand, a talking moon. This is all it needs, it needs… It is noon. Time to lunch. A whole day to go. A father and his child. Amongst the crowd.
