    Full Picture and Sketches

  • Lilium Ponticum

The flower that grows with every step UB Boy and Fren take towards each other.
  • Lilium Ponticum, the Lily that grows with every step UB Boy and Fren take towards each other. And it starts as a water lily in one of Fren’s favourite moors. As their feelings transform so does the lily transform into related species.

At its peak of growth Fren and UB Boy don’t know what to do with the beautiful flower. Fren found a true friend in UB Boy and wants to devote her time exclusively to him. >

  • > An overwhelming present to UB Boy that is of course and he appreciates it so much! UB's heart is big enough to hold a life partner AND a loving friend. Fren is most welcome! But the time UB and Fren spend together is what Lovers typically do. That is a dilemma they both see and acknowledge without knowing a solution. So they let the flower keep growing imperturbably. >>

  • >> And so their love for each other keeps growing, while the perspective gets narrower and narrower. Love that UB Boy wants to hold on to and not give up for a new horizon. Shennika peeks in and for sure UB Boy sees the new present and opportunity to move in that direction, for this girl doesn’t seem to stop at the border of romance. And Fren sees her as a welcoming solution to keep their friendship unburdened.

  • But the path UB walked with Fren is already so branched out and every second of his life is so occupied, that he can’t escape this fatal embrace. And finally a moment of jealousy catches UB and that shocks his loving friend. The pure lily gets neglected in the process, stops growing to never be looked after again..! Oh no, UB is guilty as well, he doesn’t even know where to find it anymore!? Ungrateful it is actually... Poor Lily.

  • A Classical Misstep

Life is mechanical. Something big automatically feels more important than something small. What happened last is easier to remember than what came first.
  • Oh Boy, a classical misstep. Who can help UB & Fren out?!

Two vulnerable people, weaving together a more and more complex pattern. Jumping to next levels in higher and higher fashion. AND then BOOM*@! In UB Boy & Fren’s case a moment of jealousy catches UB and it shocks his new found friend. UB couldn’t control his feelings, Fren couldn’t hold her shock, they failed to downplay. >

  • > What followed was a collapse of dimensions. There was no room anymore to see each other, no room no more to talk to one another. They fell back to where they started: A speed messaging relationship with now awkardly long silences between two monologues. Even the dialogues were gone. AND then a final BOOM*@!
Holding his breath too long UB Boy stripped all soothing words and a 1 dimensional text (still great poetry) filled the messaging app.

  • A 1 dimensional answer followed. Point of no return. End friendship. On the 1st fresh day of the autumn month November in the great year of 2018 UB packed all his dimensions together again and came to see Fren. It didn’t make a difference though. She still couldn’t grasp what happened, as she told UB Boy. But had no need to get it straight. Fren apparently had no need for frustration, fight, or other unpleasant feelings, you name them. But Fren certainly needs understanding, love, joy, challenging views, you name and counterweight them.

  • She, however, chose what happend last.. and forgot what happened first.
 That is the classical misstep.

So consider this little story. If your friendship collapses and that can happen some day, go back to where you started. To what made you both feel great. Go around what made you feel bad that happened last. Life is too short to sulk. And when you succeed in putting first again what happened first, your friendship will be stronger than ever before.   Amen.

    Jealous Boy
I found in you what I need UB dear. And I know you need more than just a friend. I won’t hold you searching, although I’m not sure how I would feel about that. I know what you mean Fren. It would be strange to stop the flower grow, growing in the windowsill, casting its shadow ahead in the land beyond. To let go your hand. I will join a nice party Tonight. My phone will be your ears. Its lens will introduce you to my Friends. I want people to witness our Friendship. So grateful to be at a party in your pocket UB, but it’s well past midnight now. I fall asleep in your pants, sweet dreams await me on the threshold. When you come home from this thrilling Party, please do wake me in your sweet World. I’ll be there for you UB Boy. I love you Bitch. 5 weeks in a row 24/7. 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM. “Good night!” 7:00 AM. “Good morning!” Noon, afternoon. “Good evening Love!” 360 Pages in fucking MS Word we texted Covering 50,400 minutes. That intense we met. How can I keep up the speed and sync my feelings?! And then 2 million 419 thousand and 200 seconds of Fighting… I love figures yes I do. -Fighting. Fren and UB- Are they fighting? -So much Love- in their friendship? (Just talk to me) What happened? (and pick up the phone!) -Does it matter- (I always wanted you to find a nice girl…) No, -No, no, no- no trivial fights in my lyrics. -A moment of jealousy- caught poor UB Boy and that shocked his new found friend. NOW -God reveals his Plan- and the solution their Chemistry creates. -Thus UB speaks:- Here I stand naked. See me, yeah watch your friend. It’s Me. Jealousy. Yeah it’s Jealousy. Does that prove my love. A Friend or a Lover, who cares, who gives a Fuh.. Here I stand naked. See, watch your friend. Yeah it is Me. It is Jealousy. Oh it Is, Oh it Is. Do you think Love comes free, that it won’t hurt. You wanted to feel. Yeah. So feel (it). Yes I know I lost 20 years. Cause you didn’t know what to feel. You, don’t blame the world. It’s You that got your wings to fly, to go up high. So fly.
