Back in 2010 Renate Uddin slid very smoothly into UB’s life. Very caring from the start she was and never stopped being so. Her unconditional trust and pride in UB opened him up. And not only does he trust her with all his intimate thoughts and feelings, this mutual sharing also help the both of them to grow. A friend for life she is.
Peter van Driel is the name of a true friend whom UB Boy met in the early eighties. How the two met is told in the song Let's go crash cassette recorders. They found each other in humour and spirit. As UB Boy, Peter creates and records beautiful music mostly instrumental. His skills to write and also manipulate language though are outstanding and have his major interest.
