I recently wished Deluciana a happy birthday. Since we keep a discrete physical distance hahaha, we mainly text each other on the usual occasions. Just to hold the line. In that message I reminded her of my under water love for her. People should express those feelings now and then, as you owe each other in my experience.
And she responded that I’m her sweet text messaging friend and sweet supermarket friend and so much more UB Boy! I indulge that answer of course. And it is not that I need to know exactly what that ‘more’ means. But I write more or less explicitly what she gave to me. I certainly will have contributed to her life as well. I hope I do, she never mentioned it in detail as I do. But then she is not me, she is not a writer. And I don’t expect her to be. It is just that I would feel embarassed if I took a lot of her energy and didn’t return anything appropriately. Shall I ask her?
