DiscoPunk Girl is set in the Zoetermeer Passage, a suburb of the city of The Hague where the king and the government of the Netherlands reside. In this romantic short story Zoetermeer is an urban island in the moors where the sweet and warm blooded nymph called Fren knows every lake to bath in laughing off the winter cold.
